Oracle ABS function

ABS function returns the absolute value from the expression. It is an example of numerical functions.
Syntax:
select ABS(column_name) from table_name;

Examples:-

1. select ABS(-1) from dual;
 ABS(-1)
———-
1
The above query returns 1 because absolute value of -1 is 1.
